Madhuri Dixit

MadhuriMadhuri dixit was an Indian actress well-known for her performance in the films 'Beta' Saajan' and 'Hum Hain Koun . Her professional career started in the 1980s. Her fame was boosted by her performance as a supporting character in the movie Tezaab. The following time, she was in the film 'Dil' which she starred alongside Aamir Khan. Born to a middle-class family in Mumbai, she started learning dance from a young age. She tried her hand at acting as just a teenager, but it wasn't easy. Many of her early films were unsuccessful. She was eventually successful and was one of the most prominent actresses in Indian cinema. Following her marriage ended, she took a break and went back to the entertainment industry. She was also a key character in the movie 'Gulaab Gang,' which was a documentary about the challenges faced by Indian women. Dixit has been nominated to win fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she won eight. The actress was also awarded the Padma Shri award, India's fourth highest civilian honour. Her work in the field of social service is another a highlight.
